This is “Pearl” our current visitor. She was rescued by one of our clients roaming in the Francis Marion Natinal forrest. It took them nearly a month using treat and food to lure her in.
We have been fostering Pearl here at the hospital for 6 weeks and she has come out of her shell and bloomed into a fantastic pet. 
Pearl is now available for adoption into a new home. She is a 1-2 year old hound mix who weighs around 50 pounds. She has been spayed and updated on all vaccines and parasite prevention. She is heartworm negative and has been treated for the intestinal parasites she had at the time of her rescue.
She loves other dogs and children, but we are not sure if she likes cats. Pearl is looking for a new family that can continue to work with her on her socialization and training. If you are looking for a new furry family member, come meet Pearl today!
