Dr. Dan Bieck and Dr. Laura Gerbec Dr. Dan Dr. Gerbec Dr. Dan Bieck is a 1998 graduate of Iowa States' School of Veterinary Medicine (where he was a mascot for the Iowa State Cyclones). To say that Dr. Dan is an avid sportsman would be an understatement. He is active in community sports, loves basketball,soccer,fishing and lives for football season. He enjoys cooking with his wife and has two pets at home, his dog "Bear" and a cat affectionately named "Mutton". He joined our practice in early 1999 after working in Pawleys Island, SC. Dr. Dan especially enjoys surgery and working with animals that suffer from behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and aggressive tendencies. Dr. Laura Gerbec is graduate of Harvard University and a 1997 graduate of The University of Minnesota's School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the ANIMAL MEDICAL CLINIC OF GOOSE CREEK in February 2005 after moving to South Carolina to get away from the cold Minnesota winters. Dr. Gerbec is a skilled equestrian and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and swimming as well as theater and opera. She is cat "crazy" and is a devoted mom to three dogs as well. Dr. Gerbec spent the past 8 years working with both companion and large animal, but has decided to devote her skills to companion animals 100%.
