Management Team Kaki Lankau Hospital Director Kaki became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 1992 after attending college in North Carolina she went on sabaatical for two years in the U.S.Virgin Islands. After returing to the U.S. she completed her college education and began her veterinary career in California. For two years she worked in general and emergency medicine practices in California before moving to Maryland to work in a specialty practice with oncology patients. She made her move to South Carolina in 1996 and immediately joined The Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek and partners with Dr. Kerwin to manage our hospital. In her spare time she is an avid reader and enjoys cooking. Kaki lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Paul, daughter Lindsay and their dog, Grady, and new puppy, Remley. Kaki Rebecca Rebecca Alderman, LVT Technical Director Rebecca joined our team in October 2002. She is a 2003 graduate of TTC's Veterinary Technology Program where she has been an adjunct faculty member since 2004. Rebecca really enjoys working with our toy breed patients. In her spare time she volunteers in the South Carolina Association of Veterinary Technicians and Girl Scouts. She lives in Hanahan with her husband John and her two children, Alyssa and Tony. She has 4 chihuahuas: Ziggy, Ripley, Tab, Peanut and a mutt, Snickers as well as a cat named Chili and a leopard gecko named Bob. Mila Ballew LVT Assistant Technical Director Mila joined our team in August 2006. She is a 2007 graduate of Trident Technical College's Veterinary Technology Program. She lives in Moncks Corner with her husband Terry and one of two daughters along with 1 dog and two cats. In her free time Mila enjoys reading, sewing, scrapbooking and gardening.
